At Madison Pediatric Dental & Orthodontics, Dr. Wilson, Dr. Stucenski and their staff are committed to making your child's appointment go as smoothly as possible. We offer the following types of sedation, which can be used alone or in combination:
Dr. Wilson and Dr. Stucenski also offer hospital dental rehabilitation. This is for children that need extensive dental work and their anxiety levels are too high for oral sedation to work appropriately and safely. This procedure is covered by most medical insurance companies. An anesthesiologist administers a general anesthesia and the child's dental work is done while he or she is asleep. This is a day surgery treatment is done at the hospital.
At your initial visit, we will get acquainted with you and your child to introduce you both to our office. You will be able to share your wishes and concerns, and we will decide which type of sedation, (if necessary), may work best for your child. While dental work may not be easy, Dr. Wilson and Dr. Stucenski will do everything they can to create a comfortable and safe environment for your child, and a great smile to take home!
